Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dental Office Supervisor to oversee daily operations, team performance, and patient experience across multiple dental practices.
This role is responsible for ensuring that offices operate efficiently, teams perform at a high level, and dentists are fully supported so they can focus on providing excellent clinical care.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in managing dental office teams, with strong knowledge of Open Dental software and dental practice operations.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise front office and support staff
- Build a positive, accountable team culture focused on performance and patient care
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and development
- Ensure adequate staffing and scheduling across practices
Office Operations
- Oversee daily office operations across multiple practices
- Ensure efficient patient scheduling and workflow
- Maintain compliance with office policies and procedures
- Coordinate communication between dentists, clinical staff, and administrative teams
Patient Experience
- Ensure a high standard of patient service and professionalism
- Address patient concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Monitor front desk performance including scheduling, insurance verification, and financial discussions
Financial Performance
- Support office revenue growth and operational efficiency
- Monitor key performance metrics such as scheduling, collections, and case acceptance
- Help ensure offices maintain strong financial and operational performance
Systems & Technology
- Utilize Open Dental practice management software for reporting, scheduling, and operational oversight
- Maintain accurate records and ensure consistent use of systems across offices
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Dental Office Manager or Supervisor
- Experience managing dental office teams and operations
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance, scheduling, and front office processes
- Hands-on experience with Open Dental software
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience overseeing multiple dental offices or locations
- Strong understanding of dental practice financial performance and reporting

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
