Dental Office Supervisor

Clarke County Dental Health Center is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Dental Office Supervisor for our practice in Osceola, IA. Candidates should be organized, dependable, and strong communicators with the ability to support daily office operations and encourage a positive team environment. The Dental Office Supervisor will assist in coordinating the day-to-day functions of the practice to help ensure efficient operations and an excellent patient experience.
- Assist with the scheduling and daily flow of the practice to support productivity and patient satisfaction
- Work closely with dentists, office leadership, and team members to help maintain an efficient and organized schedule
- Ensure patients receive a high level of customer service throughout their experience with the practice
- Support front office operations including patient communication, appointment coordination, and administrative tasks
- Assist with accounts payable processing and forwarding invoices to the corporate office for payment
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to team members and assist with onboarding and training new employees
- Help foster a positive and professional team environment
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed
- Address operational and patient concerns promptly and escalate issues to office leadership when appropriate
- Support office goals and performance targets through effective teamwork and communication
- Maintain knowledge of office policies, procedures, and practice management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or dental administration training preferred
- 2+ years of dental office experience required, with prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Experience working with dental practice management software
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with a team
