Dental Receptionist

YOU must have at least 3-5 years of experience as a dental receptionist. AT LEAST TWO REFERENCES REQUIRED. PAY RANGE $27.00 to $43.00 per hour. A two-day paid working interview is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a friendly and efficient front desk environment
• Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and other health plans, ensuring proper billing procedures
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry
• Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly and courteously
• Maintain organized dental paperwork, including dental terminology, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, and CPT coding for procedures

Skills

• Proven experience in dental office administration with strong clerical skills
• Being able to make claims and predetermination & sending them to insurancce companies
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security
• Familiarity with insurance verification, dental billing, CCDT coding, and care plan documentation
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong customer service orientation with exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills

Pay: $25.81 - $31.08 per hour
