Duties
- Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional front desk customer service, ensuring a positive first impression
- Schedule appointments efficiently using dental office management software (Dentrix Ascend)
- Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing and collections
- Manage patient intake forms, update medical records, and review documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
- Maintain dental records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with insurance verification and documentation review to support accurate billing
Skills
- Proven experience in dental office or clinic administrative support with strong office management skills
- Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of dental terminology and coding for accurate documentation and billing
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing at 10-key speed
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, record keeping, and appointment scheduling
- Exceptional patient service skills combined with effective communication abilities in bilingual settings preferred
- Ability to handle medical billing processes including collections, insurance verification, and care plan documentation
- Experience working in a busy dental clinic or hospital environment is highly desirable

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
