Dental Receptionist/Dental Assistant

Duties

• Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and schedule appointments efficiently using Eaglesoft
• Answer incoming calls, confirm patient appointments, and help with preauthorization's
• Prepare treatment rooms for procedures, assist with four-handed dentistry techniques, and provide chairside support during various dental treatments
• Take and develop X-ray images while maintaining proper infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
• Operate dental equipment such as the Itero scanner and take alginate impressions
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control standards and ensure all dental tools are sterilized properly

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a dental clinic with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, infection control procedures, aseptic technique, and sterilization processes
• Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to safety standards
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members
• Familiarity with general dentistry procedures is essential
