Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient care plans, coordinating treatment schedules, and ensuring compliance with Dental regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of Dental terminology, coding, and administrative support within a Dental environment. The Treatment Coordinator will serve as a vital link between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that all necessary documentation and patient information is accurately maintained.
Duties
- Coordinate patient treatment plans and schedules to optimize care delivery.
- Manage medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct insurance verification and assist with medical billing processes.
- Provide exceptional patient service through effective communication and phone etiquette.
- Utilize Dentrix to manage patient information.
- Assist in clerical tasks including filing, typing, and maintaining organized office records.
- Support front desk operations by managing multi-line phone systems and scheduling appointments.
- Collaborate with Dental staff to ensure seamless patient intake and care coordination.
- Maintain knowledge of dental terminology and clinic experience to support dental treatment coordination.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in Dental coding and familiarity with Dental billing practices.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office experience with systems is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with patients and Dental providers.
- Familiarity with Dental information management principles is a plus.
