Dental Sterilization Technician

Seeking a high energy teammate who is eager to learn and grow in the dental field, particularly in Oral Surgery. We're hiring a sterilization tech with strong attention to detail, collaborative mindset and a positive attitude. Some medical office experience and a dental assisting certification (X-Ray Cert and Sterilization/infection control cert, in particular) is preferred, but not required. This is a great entry-level role for someone who is considering building a career in the dental or medical field. Our ideal candidate would be a newer dental assisting school graduate who is looking for a starting place and aspires to grow into an oral surgery assistant over time.

Responsibilities include:

• Sterilization of instruments
• Assist in surgeries by setting up rooms and cleaning rooms after patient treatment, as well as monitoring vitals
• Opportunity to assist in surgeries, as well as pre-post patient care, based on experience and/or as skills are developed through shadowing opportunities
• As needed, help with scheduling or process work

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior dental or medical experience is preferred
• Experience with sterilization/infection control and relevant safety protocols preferred.
• Dental assisting school and or experience is preferred, but not required
• To assist, candidate must have or be willing to acquire valid CPR/BLS, sterilization/infection control and X-Ray Certifications

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
