Patient care and diagnosis are key responsibilities.
- Perform thorough oral examinations: examine patients' oral health visually, with X-rays, and by reviewing their medical history.
- Diagnose dental issues such as malocclusions, cavities, gum disease, and oral infections by recognizing them.
- Create and discuss customized treatment plans that include extractions, crowns, root canals, and fillings based on the diagnosis.
Treatment and procedures
- Perform Dental Procedures: Execute various dental treatments, including cleanings, restorations, extractions, and periodontal therapy.
- Manage Dental Emergencies: Address urgent dental conditions, including pain management, trauma care, and emergency extractions.
Preventive Dental Care
- Educate Patients: Provide advice on diet, preventative dentistry, and oral hygiene techniques to preserve dental health.
- Provide preventive care programs and develop effective preventive care techniques for both individuals and groups.

- Keep accurate records in the patient management system, including treatment plans, progress notes, and documentation.
- To ensure infection control, adhere to safety, hygienic, and sterilization guidelines to stop the spread of infections.

Administrative Responsibilities:

Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or MDS degree from a recognized institution.
