Key Responsibilities
- Examine patients to assess oral health conditions and diagnose dental issues
- Perform dental surgeries such as tooth extractions, wisdom tooth removal, implants, and corrective procedures
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Administer local anesthesia and manage pain control during procedures
- Prescribe medications, including antibiotics and pain relievers, when appropriate
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive dentistry
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other healthcare professionals
- Stay current with advancements in dental techniques and technologies
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Valid dental license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
- Completion of internship or residency (preferred or required, depending on role)
