Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient treatment plans by reviewing documentation and ensuring all necessary information is collected and filed accurately.
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic to maintain patient records and track treatment progress.
- Review ICD-10 codes for accuracy and ensure proper billing procedures are followed.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing concerns and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Assist with documentation review to ensure compliance with office policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance the patient experience
Qualifications
- Familiarity with insurance billing is a plus but not required. Some offices may be willing to train.
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, reliable with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced dental environment, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
