Dental Treatment Coordinator & Front Desk

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator & Front Desk professional to join our vibrant dental practice. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while efficiently managing appointment scheduling, patient intake, and insurance verification. Your expertise in dental terminology, medical billing, and office management will help streamline operations and enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize daily workflow
• Verify insurance coverage, ensuring proper documentation review and accurate insurance information entry
• Assist patients with intake forms, medical history updates, and explanation of treatment plans while maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Support billing processes by understanding CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems, and performing medical collection tasks when necessary
• Maintain organized filing systems for patient records and office documentation while supporting office management duties such as inventory control and clerical support

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a dental office or medical clinic setting with strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical billing procedures
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical coding
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing accuracy (10 key typing)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and clear communication abilities

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
