Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dental Treatment & Financial Coordinator to join our team. We are a boutique startup luxury dental studio and are only looking for front-facing, in person candidates. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing treatment coordination and claims management aspects of dental care, ensuring accurate pre-determination estimates, billing, collections, and patient financial services. We are looking for someone who is well-versed in PPO insurance (we do not participate with Medicaid or HMO insurances). This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in various medical and dental software systems, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. We are only seeking candidates with previous dental practice experience.
The hours for this position are 10 AM to 5 or 6 PM Monday to Friday, as well as a few Saturdays a month.

Duties
- Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend is a must.
- Knowledge of PPO insurance billing and insurance verification is a must.
- Oversee the treatment coordination, patient communication, front-facing and billing process for dental services, ensuring accuracy in charges and payments.
- Conduct dental collections and follow up on outstanding accounts.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients, including Medicare and private insurance plans.
- Review documentation for compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper coding using CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 standards.
- Maintain organized patient records and files while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Provide administrative support within the dental office including scheduling appointments, managing front desk operations, and handling multi-line phone systems.
- Assist patients with care plans and financial inquiries while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
- Communicate daily with dental owners and family-style dental practice.
- Passionate about the delivery of ethical and luxury dental care.
Skills
- Proficient in patient communication. This is a front facing role.
- Proficient in telephone communication and all front desk scheduling management duties.
- Proficient in dental billing and coding practices with knowledge of medical terminology and dental terminology.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance patient communication.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is a must.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and patient service skills to foster positive interactions with clients.
