Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough assessments, and performing various dental procedures. Your expertise in dental terminology, medical documentation, and infection control will be essential in ensuring the health and safety of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine oral health needs
• Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Implement aseptic techniques to ensure infection control throughout the practice
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver exceptional patient care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and treatment methods

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid state dental license and certification to practice dentistry
• Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and root canal therapy is a plus
• Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $143,909.52 - $200,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
