Dentist

Overview
We are seeking a Dentist to join our practice. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care and contribute to the overall success of our dental team. This position can be full or part time, and the salary will be negotiated during the interview!

Responsibilities
- Perform dental examinations and create treatment plans for patients
- Administer anesthetics and sedatives during procedures
- Conduct dental extractions, fillings, and root canals
- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Monitor vital signs during procedures
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow

Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proficiency in general dentistry procedures including CAD, dental extractions, and restorative dentistry
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and oral health principles
- Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients on oral health care
- Experience with Dentrix or similar practice management software is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
