Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and be proficient in various dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. You will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure a positive experience for all patients while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to evaluate patient oral health.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Conduct various dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and four-handed dentistry.
  • Provide pediatric dental care with an emphasis on creating a comfortable environment for young patients.
  • Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance patient care.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
  • Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with infection control protocols.
  • Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
  • Experience in general dentistry procedures including endodontics, oral surgery, and dental fabrication.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation.
  • Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $186,828.88 - $224,998.22 per year

Expected hours: 32 per week
