Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and various dental procedures. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Your expertise in dental terminology, medical documentation, and infection control will be essential in maintaining our practice's standards.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health status
  • Provide general dentistry services including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics
  • Perform oral surgeries as needed while ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver optimal patient care
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques including medical imaging and aseptic techniques

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
  • Experience with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred
  • Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and infection control protocols
  • Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental care
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education
  • Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $124,297.89 - $149,692.08 per year
