Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental team across our broward centers. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventative and restorative treatments. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing oral diseases, developing treatment plans, and performing various dental procedures in a clinical setting. A strong commitment to patient care and comfort is essential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums to assess oral health.
- Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and oral surgeries.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and incorporate them into practice.
- Manage patient interactions with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, dental terminology, and four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Knowledge of oral surgery procedures and prosthodontics is a plus.
- Experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
