Currently, we are searching for a FULL time dentist that is able to treat patients efficiently to the best of their abilities. We have a strong team and our motto is No Stress, No Drama!

- At Emergency Dental Professionals, the salary does NOT go away!

Compensation:

- Guaranteed Salary of $200,000 or 30% of collections -- Whichever is GREATER.

- Hassle-free practice - you get to focus on the dentistry. Emergency Dental Professionals will focus on the rest!

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Provide dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients.
  • Maintain up to date patient electronic records.
  • Provide patient education in proper oral health, treatments and competent care.
  • Conduct examinations of teeth and surrounding tissue utilizing diagnostic tools, including medical and dental histories, and dental radiographs.
  • Collaborates with EDP medical and other staff for consultation and/or referral of patients and clients within and outside the clinics.
  • Supervises taking of x-rays and monitors quality/procedure for x-rays and other equipment operation and procedures by assistants and recommends improvements when needed.
  • Practices in accord with OSHA guidelines and standards and complies with HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality of patient information.
  • Maintains all required certification and licensing.
  • Holds informed consent discussion with patient, and assures appropriate forms are signed prior to treatment.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Reviews medical history at every visit.
  • Examines and assesses patient. Charts all pathologic conditions and reports these to the patient.
  • Holds informed consent discussion with patient, documents same in the record, and assures appropriate forms are signed prior to initiating treatment.
  • Prescribes medicine for patients as needed.
  • Documents all treatment provided in accordance with EDP policy and procedures and signs the patient record.
  • Able to move quickly and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and treating dental emergencies, particularly in endodontics, oral surgery, and restorative dentistry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 per year
