Job description:

• Examination and Diagnosis: Performing dental exams, including X-rays, to assess oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
• Treatment Planning: Developing personalized treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs.
• Procedures: Performing procedures like fillings, extractions, root canals, and placing crowns or bridges.
• Preventative Care: Providing preventative care such as teeth cleanings and fluoride treatments.
• Patient Education: Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, diet, and lifestyle choices.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Referrals: Referring patients to specialists as needed or requested.
• Cosmetic Dentistry: Providing cosmetic services like teeth whitening, bonding, and veneers.
• Leadership: Leading dental teams in larger practices and overseeing operations.
• Management: Managing dental hygienists and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Communication: Effectively communicating with patients, dental staff, and other healthcare professionals.
