Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. This role requires a thorough understanding of general dentistry procedures, advanced dental techniques, and excellent patient communication skills. The Dentist will work in a modern clinical environment, utilizing the latest dental technology and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using dental terminology and medical imaging tools.
- Provide a wide range of dental treatments including restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Utilize advanced dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for documentation and medical records management.
- Conduct patient consultations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Implement infection control procedures using aseptic techniques and maintain a sterile environment during all procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions for optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and staff to facilitate four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care delivery.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and general dentistry practices.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical documentation standards.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and dental fabrication.
- Ability to perform dental extractions with precision and care.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and communication.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail in medical records management.
