Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and a passion for improving patient health. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating oral diseases, performing dental procedures, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. You will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring that our patients receive comprehensive care in a comfortable setting.
Minimum 2 years of dental practice experience required. Please only apply if you can extract teeth and do root canals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ teeth and gums to diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
- Develop treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns, bridges, and root canals.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Skills
- Proficient in medical documentation and familiar with medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Experience with dental clinic software such as Eaglesoft or Epic is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
- Familiarity with prosthodontics is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
