Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, utilizing advanced dental technologies, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of dental conditions across diverse patient populations, including pediatric and adult patients. Experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix is preferred. A strong background in general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry will ensure success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose dental issues accurately.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patient needs and expectations.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgeries.
- Utilize aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and maintain a sterile environment.
- Operate dental imaging equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation and dental records using electronic health record systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices, preventive measures, and treatment options using clear medical terminology.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and staff to ensure efficient workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures to provide the highest standard of care.
- Uphold all safety standards related to infection control, medical documentation, and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution; licensure to practice dentistry in the state required.
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic or similar healthcare setting; experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred.
- Strong knowledge of general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages using appropriate medical language while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
- Commitment to infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $190,787.61 - $229,765.72 per year
