Responsibilities
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics to restore and maintain oral health.
- Conduct oral surgeries such as dental extractions and root canal therapies with precision and care.
- Assess patient needs through thorough examinations and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize dental imaging technology and medical documentation systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to record patient information accurately.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient outcomes.
Experience
- Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication.
- Demonstrated proficiency with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
- Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other advanced procedures within a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and infection control standards.
- Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment is highly preferred.
