Service Area: K–12 schools in the Purchase District Health Department region

Position Overview
Purchase District Health Department is seeking a Public Health Dentist to provide restorative services for students through the Tooth Transit in-school mobile dental program. Work is fully flexible and scheduled based on your availability during the school year, with care delivered in a fully equipped mobile dental unit alongside our hygiene team.

Compensation & Structure

• Flat rate: $900/day
• You choose the days you work; scheduling is fully flexible
• No production requirements

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide routine exams and screenings for K–12 students
• Diagnose and treat common dental conditions
• Perform basic restorative care (fillings, simple extractions, etc.)
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic dental systems
• Coordinate with hygienists, school staff, and program leadership

Minimum Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program
• Active Kentucky dental license in good standing
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong clinical skills in general restorative dentistry
• Comfortable working independently in a mobile clinic setting
