Deployment Position | Up to 8-Week Rotations | Remote, Austere & High-Security Environments

Position Summary

We’re looking for a Contract Compliance Officer ready to deploy and operate in remote, austere, and high-security environments. This is a boots-on-the-ground role focused on ensuring full adherence to all contractual, regulatory, and operational requirements across CRS projects.

You will support government contract execution through onsite compliance monitoring, documentation management, audit coordination, and operational readiness oversight. This position works closely with project leadership, HR, training, legal, and field operations to ensure CRS meets all obligations throughout the lifecycle of each contract.

Your Mission

Contract Compliance & Oversight

  • Interpret contract requirements and ensure all deployed and home-office activities align with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Review statements of work (SOWs), deliverables, and operational requirements to ensure cross-department compliance.
  • Track compliance deadlines, reporting obligations, and contract renewal or amendment requirements.
  • Monitor onsite operational performance during deployments and escalate deviations or risks to leadership.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation including compliance logs, incident records, training files, personnel credentials, and operational reporting.
  • Prepare compliance reports for internal leadership and government partners.
  • Support documentation for contract modifications, extensions, procurement updates, and field changes.

Audit & Inspection Support

  • Lead preparation for internal and external audits, inspections, quality checks, and compliance reviews.
  • Oversee corrective actions and ensure findings are resolved promptly.
  • Conduct onsite compliance inspections during deployment rotations to verify adherence to policies, procedures, and contract standards.

Training & Workforce Compliance

  • Work with HR and Training to ensure personnel meet all credentialing, licensing, and training requirements.
  • Track mandatory training hours, certifications, and renewal cycles to maintain compliance.
  • Ensure all personnel meet onboarding, documentation, and deployment-readiness standards specific to each contract.

Policy & Process Development

  • Develop, refine, and enforce compliance SOPs, checklists, workflows, and quality controls for field operations.
  • Provide guidance to project teams on regulatory requirements, contract terms, and operational risks.
  • Support standardization of compliance processes across all CRS projects to maintain contract readiness.

Cross-Functional Communication

  • Serve as a key liaison between CRS leadership, onsite teams, HR, training, operations, legal, and government stakeholders.
  • Communicate compliance expectations clearly and consistently to deployed and non-deployed staff.
  • Support issue resolution, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in compliance, contracting, auditing, or regulatory oversight.
  • Experience supporting or administering local, state, and federal contract requirements.
  • Strong understanding of procurement rules, documentation standards, and compliance audit processes.
  • Ability to translate contract requirements into operational actions in the field.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential documentation.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Smartsheet, or similar compliance-tracking tools.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-visibility, and high-security environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in government contracting, emergency response operations, secure/detention facilities, or large-scale staffing projects.
  • Background in compliance for high-risk, regulated, or mission-critical operations.
  • Knowledge of workforce compliance programs, credentialing requirements, or HR regulatory standards.
  • Experience deploying or supporting operations in remote, austere, or secure environments.

Work Environment

  • Deployment rotations up to 8 weeks onsite, followed by scheduled R&R.
  • Work performed in remote, austere, and/or high-security environments depending on project needs.
  • Combination of field inspections, onsite audits, operational monitoring, and administrative reporting.
  • High-tempo environment where accuracy, communication, and reliability are essential.

Ability to Commute and Relocate:

  • Geographically diverse deployment locations: Relocate before starting work and for the duration of the 6-8 week rotation (Required)

Work Location: In person

Shift availability: This position will work 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week for the duration of the deployment, totaling 84 hours per week. You will be paid overtime over 40 hours worked in one week

Pay: $35/hr ($3710/wk)

Pay: $3,710.00 per week
