Job Summary:

The Deployment Team Lead plays a key role in supporting daily deployment operations by ensuring that team members have the guidance, resources, and direction they need to execute tasks effectively. This position serves as the first point of contact for troubleshooting, workflow coordination, and task delegation within the team. The Deployment Operations Team Lead works directly with technicians, providing hands-on support and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical & Process Responsibilities:

· Assist in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting routers, iPads, phones, and tablets, ensuring proper deployment.

· Conduct real-time quality control checks to verify devices meet configuration and performance standards.

· Monitor and report on processing times, common errors, and workflow inefficiencies, providing feedback for improvement.

· Identify and address bottlenecks in the deployment process, suggesting and implementing adjustments.

· Ensure deployment tools, equipment, and workstations are properly maintained and stocked for team efficiency.

· Assist in refining process documentation, SOPs, and best practices, ensuring alignment with operational needs.

Team Leadership & Coordination:

· Assign tasks and ensure team members are working efficiently to meet processing goals.

· Monitor workflow and escalate larger issues to the Deployment Assistant Manager when needed.

· Train new team members on device configuration, troubleshooting, and process best practices.

· Provide real-time coaching and support to deployment technicians.

· Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring clear communication and accountability.

Qualification Requirements:

· Strong technical knowledge of device deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

· Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide and support team members.

· Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to resolving issues.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining accuracy.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

· 2+ years of experience in device deployment, IT support, or a related field.

· Familiarity with Android, iOS, iPadOS, Windows, and macOS environments.

· Experience with MDM/EMM solutions and device management tools preferred.

· Proficiency in Office365 and ticketing systems.

· Previous leadership or training experience in a technical or operational setting is preferred.
