Deployment Technician

We are seeking a highly energetic and motivated technician to join our Professional Services team focusing on technology deployments. This is an onsite role and will travel to our office and client sites local to Tarrytown, NY.

This role is critical in managing and delivering projects that meet client needs and align with our company’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills and experience working in an MSP environment, specifically with client-facing projects.

  • Operational Effectiveness: Each project will follow our process and communication standards. When we deviate, we escalate. Projects must execute on time and on budget.

  • Multitasking and Prioritization: Handles basic tasks with guidance. Focuses on simple, routine issues and client requests.
  • Microsoft Infrastructure Proficiency: Supports basic configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft systems, often relying on more experienced team members for complex issues.
  • Third-Party Software Management: Installs and troubleshoots third-party software with basic understanding, often under supervision or as part of a larger team effort.
  • Firewall Configuration and Troubleshooting: Assists with basic firewall setups and configurations. Follows procedures for common issues with firewalls like SonicWall and Fortinet.
  • Network Design and Troubleshooting: Provides basic support for network setups and resolves straightforward connectivity issues.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in IT projects or 4-8 years of IT support, systems administration, or a related field.
  • Some exposure to intermediate IT support tasks like server configurations, desktop support, and troubleshooting.
  • IT certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900) Net +. A+
  • Prior experience in a Managed Service Provider or Consulting environment is preferred
  • Proficiency with systems like ConnectWise and IT Glue is advantageous for seamless operations
  • Intermediate knowledge of server and network administration.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows server configurations roles and features
  • Familiar with operating systems like Windows Server, Linux, and desktop OS.
  • Experience with firewall management network troubleshooting and base level configuration.
  • Basic to intermediate level of Office 365 cloud management experience
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
  • Ability to handle simple escalations with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Basic troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
