Deputy Clerk - Elections

This position will be primarily focused on handling the Election operations for the County of Knox, Illinois. Duties will include, but not limited to, data entry for voter registrations, processing electronic registrations from the State Board of Elections website, coordinating with Township officials regarding polling locations and access, and assisting in delivery of Election equipment to polling locations. In the County Clerk's office they will also be assisting customers at the counter and answering phones. The position will also assist with all areas of work in the offices. Good customer service skills are essential. Computer and accounting skills are a plus. Candidates need to be productive, fast learners, and be able to multi-task. This position will be part of the collective bargaining unit at the Courthouse.

Job Type: Full-time
