Position Overview:
Manage the business unit direct reporting functions: Production, Sales, Engineering, & Quality.
Manage unit level shared functions: HR, Procurement, Safety.
Responsibilities:
-
Manage the assigned business unit including plant, equipment, and resources to achieve its planned output of revenue and profit margin whereby the people management constitutes direct reporters with the authority power and dotted line reporters as an influencer.

Operate, improve, optimize, and control the assigned business unit operation for best performance desired by the cluster and group management.

Synergize and liaise with cluster level function such as Finance, HR, Procurement and Safety to insure getting best service required for uninterrupted and optimized operation.

Be accountable for achieving or exceeding the business unit technical and commercial targets assigned by the cluster management.

Expose the optimum level of leadership skills all business unit team members to build a healthy working atmosphere characterized by teamwork, boundaryless intercompany relation, motivation, and professionalism.

Be the spearhead along with the business unit sales/commercial team in maintaining sophisticated customer relationship.

Be an active member of building and tuning the business unit strategic short-term/mid-term/long-term plan along with its goals and objectives whereby the business unit progress in a well-planned growth path.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
.

Minimum
15 years of relevant industry experience
.
Technical Expertise:
Engineering, Comprehensive knowledge of Aramco quality requirements, Steel industry general knowledge, Oil & Gas market knowledge, Saudi Arabian law and regulations, MS office.

Strong engineering background.

Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Aramco quality requirements.

Solid understanding of the steel industry and oil & gas market.
-
Familiarity with Saudi Arabian law and regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
