We are Hiring for Deputy General Manager – Accounts

#Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AR, AP, payroll, and reconciliations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure timely MIS reporting to management.

Monitor cash flow and working capital management.

#Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

Analyze revenue streams (advertising, digital, subscription, syndication, production revenue).

Monitor budget variances and provide financial insights to leadership.

#Compliance & Taxation

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act requirements.

Coordinate with auditors (internal & statutory) and manage audit processes.

Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance.

#Cost Control & Financial Strategy

Optimize operational costs related to content production, marketing, and distribution.

Support strategic decision-making with financial analysis and feasibility studies.

Drive process improvements and automation in accounting systems.

#Team Management

Lead and mentor the accounts team.

Ensure adherence to financial policies and SOPs.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws.

Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
