Job Purpose

Job purpose is to provide oversight and management of Fluotropolymer Plant operations ( Mainly batch operations) and require high clean class requirements & upcoming new project management related activities. To ensure Cost Effectiveness and consistency with prescribed quality and product Standards. Is responsible for maintaining the accurate quality and quantity control to ensure the on-time delivery of produced products in order to satisfy the customers.

Key Performance Indicators

Financial and Delivery
Planning, Formulating, scheduling, controlling and supervising the entire production process to ensure the effective management of production lines of an organization. ? Ensuring maintenance of cost effective and high quality standard production. ? Ensure optimum utilization of Raw Materials and other inputs to minimize expenditure and achieve reduction in cost of production without affecting quality. ? Planning production meetings, worker schedules, production activities, machine maintenance plans and maintaining product quality and budgets. ? Managing time-lines and work priorities and allocating resources to meet the assigned factory time-lines and goals.
Improvement in Conversion Cost. ? Achieve 100% OTIF Customer Delivery.

Quality Improvement
Selecting and maintaining equipments, supervising product standards and enforcing quality-control programs. ? Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices. ? Contamination control by following Strict Operational discipline and 3following and maintaining clean class standards. ? Monitoring proper utilization of raw materials to ensure Waste minimization.
? Achieve “Zero Defects”

Safety Management
Observing the effective maintenance of safety rules and standards in the department by the workers. ? Ensure the plant equipment/process is ISO certified and follows defined environmental safety norms. ? Ensure follow up for process safety management in each operation.
100 % reduction in accidents.

Process Improvement
Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations. ? Manage the adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure first pass quality meets or exceeds planned goals. ? Ensure compliance of Safety, environmental norms and healthy working environment in the plant with Zero accidents or near miss cases.
? Improve Process Capability.

People Management
Liaising with different departments such as suppliers, managers and so on to prevent any probable delay. ? Supervising and inspiring team of workers and reviewing the work performance of subordinates. ? Working with managers effectively to execute the policies and goals of the organization. ? Ensuring the effectual adopting of new programs and policies and providing training in order to meet improved requirements. ? Reviewing the overall performance and identifying training necessities of production personnel. ? Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives.
? Improvement in Employee Satisfaction.

Compliance sustainability and integrity
? Ensure all activities under his/her control and supervision are compliant with all the laws of land and statutory requirement. ? Review Compliance Status and take necessary action to mitigate any non-compliance as identify. ? Conduct all operation of function, ensuring social responsibility and accountabilities by following the company guideline of the same. ? Review activity under control and take action to make the same sustainable as per the company sustainability principle. ? Be responsible for ethical operation under his control. ? Be responsible for prevention, detection and reporting of bribery and other forms of corruption including breach of code of conduct and other company regulation. ? Avoid all such activity that could lead to or imply breach of code of conduct, anti-bribery and anti-corruption etc. ? Immediately report any incidents related to social responsibility violations and anticorruption / Anti Bribery process deviation

Educational Qualifications

    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple Tasks simultaneously, set priorities, identifies and addresses problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget. ? Ability to manage personnel and budgets ? Good time management and planning skills. ? Knowledge

Relevant and total experience

  • Total Number of experience required -

    Total 15-20 years hands son experience in handling production unit of large and complex Polymer / Chemical plants.
