Job Description:
Responsible for designing software architecture and (or) delivery & deployment of the solution, driving automation, and improving operational efficiencies. This is a tactical role which defines the direction of new solutions, processes, standards based upon business strategy or customer need, with a significant mid-term impact on business unit overall results.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pre-Sales Solution Consultant with deep expertise in telecom network products to support our sales and business development teams.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in solution design, RFP response management, and compliance matrix fulfillment, ensuring our offerings align with customer requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities Solutioning & Technical Design:

Understand customer requirements and design tailored telecom network solutions (e.g., IP/MPLS, SD-WAN, Optical Transport, 5G, etc.).

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to validate solution feasibility and scalability.

Leads discussions with cross functional teams and stake holders to evaluate feasibility, technical specifications, cost-benefit analysis, etc. RFP/RFI

Management: Lead the end-to-end response process for RFPs/RFIs, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions. Analyze tender documents and extract technical and commercial requirements.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and prepare winning proposals.

Compliance Matrix Fulfillment: Own the compliance matrix and ensure all technical and functional requirements are addressed accurately.

Map product capabilities to customer specifications and highlight differentiators.

Identify gaps and propose workarounds or roadmap items.
Customer Engagement:

Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and technical workshops.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, articulating the value proposition of telecom solutions.

Documentation & Knowledge Management: Prepare solution documents, technical write-ups, and presentations.

Maintain a repository of reusable assets for future RFPs and solutioning. Desired Skill sets Demonstrated experience and understanding in software solutions requirement analysis and software & platform architecture, cloud environment, business concepts and processes.
Strong understanding of telecom technologies:

IP networking, transport networks, wireless access, OSS/BSS. Proven experience in handling large-scale RFPs and compliance matrices.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and proposal automation platforms.

Industry domain knowledge of key technology and industry trends Experience in working with Agile methodology.
