PROJECT WORK: MANUFACTURE /COMMERCIALLIZATION OF ENQUIRY BASED PRODUCTS ( IN-HOUSE OR AT THIRD PARTY)
• Doing literature search of the enquiries received from the clients & making their project proposals. • Preparing costing and timelines for the enquiries from the clients. • Planning of the project work as per the timeline required by clients. • Identifying vendors for RM’s, raising PR’s and ensuring the timely arrival of RM’s. • Ensuring the quality of RM’s, intermediates and final products as per specifications. • Ensuring the timely execution of the project work and timely dispatch of the final products to the clients. • Timely communication of project requirements to procurement team for material requirements, ADL team for analytical support and marketing team for dispatch of materials. • Prepare the SOP’s and ensuring that all SOP’s are followed while carrying out the project work. • Helping & guiding the group members in developing experimental skills & proper documentation as per GLP/ IMS. • Preparing the presentations and final project reports. • Taking the processes developed in the R & D to the commercial scale.

NON-INFRINGING PROCESSES
• Developing the non-infringing processes for the enquiry based products, if it is requirement of the client. • Developing non-infringing processes for new products based on building blocks available with GFL.

• Ensuring that the laboratory and group members are well equipped with the safety & housekeeping equipments. • Ensuring that the GLP/ GMP/ IMS are fully observed by the group members while doing their project work. • Doing periodical safety & house-keeping rounds in the R & D and pilot plant • Doing HAZOP studies of the processes developed in the laboratory before taking for manufacturing.

• Doing complete literature /patent search required in the project work using Scifinder, Reaxys, ROW-2 and other software packages. • If required, visit universities or other organizations for literature / patent search. • Prepare the literature/patent search reports. • Educate subordinates for literature/patent search.

TROUBLE-SHOOTING

Contributing in additional responsibility assigned by the supervisor in the area of material procurement (preparing specifications), material storage, materials disposal, general maintenance of laboratory & equipments.
