Deputy Head - Merchandising & SCM (Diamond & Studd)

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Gemmology, Jewellery Design, Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering, with an MBA / PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, or Merchandising preferred Gemology certification (GIA / IGI / HRD) is a strong advantage

12+ years of experience in the Diamond & Studded Jewellery sector, including 8+ years in senior merchandising and/or supply chain leadership roles.

Proven track record of end‑to‑end merchandising and product lifecycle management, from concept development to retail execution.

Strong exposure to retail‑focused supply chain operations, including regional store support and market‑driven planning.

Demonstrated expertise in vendor negotiation, supplier relationship management, and strategic sourcing.

Experience managing large‑scale inventories across multi‑location, high‑volume retail networks.

Strong strategic mindset with the ability to drive hands‑on execution in complex retail environments.

High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven retail setup.

Results‑oriented leader with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cross‑functional and external partners.

Strong focus on product efficiency, compliance, process discipline, and consistency across the end‑to‑end supply chain.
