Under general direction of the Human Resources Manager, assists with management and oversight, planning, implementation, operation, and administration of all phases of Human Resources, including recruitment and employment, compensation and benefits, employee relations and labor relations, risk and safety, personnel records management, information systems, training and development, performance development and evaluation programs, ensuring maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, and consistency. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Six years of human resources experience, including labor relations, employee relations administration, and other human resources areas.
- Four years of supervisory experience across all years of job-related experience.
- Professional Human Resource Certification (PHR), Senior Professional Human Resource Certification (SPHR), SHRM – Certified Professional (CP), or SHRM – Senior Certified Professional (SCP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Public or Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- Public sector Human Resources experience.
- Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) experience and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
