Job Title: Deputy Manager – Claims (Life Insurance)

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Deputy Manager – Claims to handle and support end-to-end life insurance claim processes. The role requires strong analytical abilities, understanding of regulatory guidelines, and hands-on experience in claims assessment, fraud detection, audits, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess life insurance claims within assigned approval limits.
• Support senior team members in handling complex or doubtful claims.
• Coordinate with doctors, vendors, claimants, hubs, and authorities.
• Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and internal compliance guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, reconciliations, and claim statistics.
• Identify, investigate, and prevent fraudulent claims.
• Review and update SOPs, documentation, and claims processes.
• Monitor SLAs and ensure timely service delivery.
• Manage customer escalations and provide resolution support.
• Participate in UAT, BR documentation, and system improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• Experience in life insurance claims processing
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of IRDAI regulations and operational controls
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficiency in MIS and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in life insurance operations or claims assessment
• Exposure to audits, compliance, and fraud detection
• Ability to handle high-volume claim environments
