- Design and implement the DQ Release Gate for all outbound data, ensuring that delivery pass through critical tests and sign-off.
- Run automated checks for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, uniqueness, validity, consistency and attach a “DQ passport” with every delivery.
- Maintain a golden runbook for validation, ensuring rollbacks exist for bad loads.
- Assist in the development of Data Quality Framework.
- Run RCA for data quality incidents and publish Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Convert RCAs into permanent controls in relevant data and technology infrastructures.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, priority & urgency; map requests to glossary terms.
- Set & monitor SLAs and communicate status & risks for early escalations.
- Implement DQ tooling (e.g., Great Expectations/Soda, Informatica/Talend DQ; Open Metadata for catalog/lineage).
- Build profiling jobs and anomaly alerts. Manage integrations with scheduler and ticketing.
- Publish DQ dashboards for relevant stakeholders across the organization.
- Report the state of data quality on periodic basis to relevant stakeholders, managing DQ enablement sessions.
Requirements
- 
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7-8 years of experience in data management, with at least 2 years in data governance roles.
- Proven experience with tools such as:
Open-Source Tools: Apache Atlas, Apache Ranger, Great Expectations, Open Metadata
Proprietary Tools: Informatica Axon, Informatica EDC, Talend Data Fabric, Oracle Data Governance Suite.
- 
Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data cataloguing tools.
- Working knowledge in data quality validation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Understanding of big data ecosystems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and Data Warehousing Solutions (e.g. Oracle Data Warehouse, Teradata, MS SQL Server Data Warehouse)
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
