Deputy Manager (Finance)

Job Description:

The Deputy Manager (Finance) will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making through effective financial planning and reporting. The role requires strong analytical, managerial, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day finance and accounts operations.
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy in financial statements, ledgers, and records.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, auditing standards, and financial regulations.
  • Manage cash flows, bank reconciliations, and financial risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders for reporting and compliance.
  • Support management in strategic planning and cost control initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor junior finance team members.

Requirements:

  • Education: MBA (Finance) / M.Com / ACCA / CA (Part-qualified) from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or audit (including 1–2 years in a supervisory role).
  • Skills:
  • Strong command over financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Accounting software.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, corporate tax, and audit practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
