Job Summary
Responsible for managing raw material store operations, ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of raw and packaging materials in compliance with GMP and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Raw Material Store (RMS), including receipt, quarantine, sampling, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Ensure materials are stored under appropriate conditions as per GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Manage inventory control, stock reconciliation, and prevention of shortages, excess, or obsolete materials.
- Coordinate with Quality Control for sampling and status labeling (quarantine, approved, rejected).
- Ensure FIFO / FEFO practices are strictly followed.
- Review and maintain RMS documentation, logs, and records in compliance with SOPs.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and QA to ensure timely material availability.
- Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to RMS operations.
- Ensure proper training and supervision of RMS staff.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and compliance within the store area.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Logistics, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical warehouse / raw material store operations.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or deputy manager role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of GMP, GDP, and warehouse compliance.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of raw material storage and inventory management in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong understanding of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with ERP / inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
