A leading manufacturing organization is looking for a driven and results-oriented Deputy Manager Sales & Marketing to lead growth in the commercial segment. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, and building strong relationships across government, semi-government, and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, annual, and product-wise sales targets in the commercial segment
- Deliver on assigned KPIs and business objectives
- Expand customer base while ensuring retention of existing clients
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and network expansion
- Maintain strong relationships with government, semi-government, and private organizations
- Carry out market surveys and competitor analysis
- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate competitor strongholds
- Ensure documentation in line with company policies and procedures
- Conduct regular customer visits and sales calls
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Provide accurate demand forecasts based on market trends
- Share regular market feedback and submit MIS reports for informed decision-making
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to enhance performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Relevant experience in sales & marketing, preferably in industrial/manufacturing sector
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Analytical mindset with strong market insight
- Leadership and team management capabilities
