Deputy Manager Sales & Marketing

A leading manufacturing organization is looking for a driven and results-oriented Deputy Manager Sales & Marketing to lead growth in the commercial segment. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, and building strong relationships across government, semi-government, and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, annual, and product-wise sales targets in the commercial segment
  • Deliver on assigned KPIs and business objectives
  • Expand customer base while ensuring retention of existing clients
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and network expansion
  • Maintain strong relationships with government, semi-government, and private organizations
  • Carry out market surveys and competitor analysis
  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate competitor strongholds
  • Ensure documentation in line with company policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular customer visits and sales calls
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Provide accurate demand forecasts based on market trends
  • Share regular market feedback and submit MIS reports for informed decision-making
  • Lead, coach, and motivate team members to enhance performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Relevant experience in sales & marketing, preferably in industrial/manufacturing sector
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Analytical mindset with strong market insight
  • Leadership and team management capabilities
