The Deputy Operations Manager – Civil will assist in overseeing and managing the execution of villa and building construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and adherence to budget and safety standards. The role involves supporting operational strategy, project coordination, and effective team management to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Operations Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising all civil construction activities across villa and building projects.
  • Oversee day-to-day project operations, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Review and approve project schedules, manpower plans, and material requirements.
  • Support in preparing and managing project budgets and cost control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all project sites.
  • Participate in tender reviews, project mobilization, and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare progress reports and assist in presenting operational updates to senior management.
  • Lead and mentor project teams to achieve high performance and productivity.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role.
  • Proven experience in villa and building construction projects within the UAE or GCC region.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management principles, and contract administration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project/Primavera, and other relevant project management tools.
  • Valid UAE driving license preferred.
