Job summary
Seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager to oversee and manage various aspects of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards. The role requires expertise in billing, cost control, and contract management with a strong background in civil engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Billing Management: Oversee and manage the entire billing process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
- Cost Control: Implement and maintain effective cost control practices to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion and resource allocation efficiency.
- Contract Coordination: Coordinate with legal and procurement teams to ensure all contractual obligations are met and any legal issues are promptly addressed.
- Documentation & Reporting: Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Software Proficiency: Auto-CAD, MS-Office
Key Requirements
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in billing, cost control, and planning.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP)
