Deputy Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Deputy Warehouse Manager to support daily warehouse operations. This role partners closely with the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for on-the-floor execution, team supervision, and operational problem-solving.

The Deputy Warehouse Manager acts as the second-in-command and can independently run shifts when needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations Execution

• Support warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and on time
• Monitor workflow and resolve issues in real time

2. Team Supervision

• Supervise warehouse associates and temporary workers
• Support scheduling, training, and task allocation
• Maintain productivity and accountability across shifts

3. Inventory Control

• Assist with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
• Ensure accurate inventory records and proper stock handling

4. Problem Solving & Escalation

• Handle day-to-day operational issues (delays, damages, shortages)
• Escalate major issues to Warehouse Manager
• Ensure smooth communication across teams

5. Process & Compliance

• Enforce SOPs, safety standards, and company policies
• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives

6. Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate with operations, transportation, and customer teams
• Support execution of client requirements and service levels

Qualifications

• 6 years of warehouse / fulfillment experience
• 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role
• Experience in 3PL, e-commerce, or logistics environments
• Familiarity with WMS systems and warehouse KPIs
• Strong execution and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing shifts or acting as team lead
• Bilingual (English + Spanish/Chinese preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
