We are seeking a qualified and experienced Derma Nurse with a valid DOH/HAAD license to join our dermatology and aesthetic team. The ideal candidate will assist in delivering safe, high-quality dermatological and cosmetic procedures while ensuring excellent patient care and compliance with all DOH/HAAD standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dermatologists in medical dermatology procedures such as biopsies, excisions, suturing support, cryotherapy, electrocautery, acne treatments, and wound care.
- Perform non-invasive aesthetic procedures within the licensed nursing scope, such as PRP, mesotherapy, microneedling, chemical peels, and laser treatments (if laser training is certified and approved by DOH/HAAD).
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterilized and aligned with DOH/HAAD infection control guidelines.
- Conduct patient assessments, collect medical histories, document vital signs, and update electronic medical records accurately.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care, skincare routines, medications, and follow-up instructions.
- Administer medications, topical aesthetics, and injections as authorized by DOH/HAAD nursing scope.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures for any reactions or complications, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Maintain compliance with DOH/HAAD standards, clinic protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
- Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and ensure positive patient engagement and satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with dermatology and aesthetic technologies, products, and best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid DOH/HAAD Registered Nurse License (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in dermatology or aesthetic nursing.
- Certification in laser, PRP, microneedling, or other aesthetic procedures (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of dermatology conditions, skin anatomy, and aesthetic protocols.
- Excellent communication, patient-care, and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work professionally in a fast-paced clinical environment.
