Dermatologist

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with dermatological conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, infections, pigmentation disorders, skin cancers, and hair & nail conditions.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and lifestyle advice.
  • Perform minor surgical dermatology procedures (biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, etc.).
  • Conduct aesthetic dermatology procedures such as Botox, fillers, chemical peels, PRP, laser therapy, skin rejuvenation, etc. (as per license privileges).
  • Provide preventive care and counseling on skincare, sun protection, and lifestyle
  • Take thorough medical histories and maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
  • Ensure informed consent is obtained prior to any procedure or treatment.
  • Educate patients about diagnosis, treatment plans, side effects, and aftercare.
  • Maintain high standards of patient satisfaction and care.
  • Adhere to DHA / MOHRE / MOH regulations and clinical governance requirements.
  • Ensure infection control and safety protocols are strictly followed in procedures
  • Collaborate with nurses, laser technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide training and supervision for junior staff or aestheticians where required.
  • Participate in internal audits, quality checks, and clinical meetings.
  • Contribute to clinic growth through patient engagement and maintaining reputation.
  • Support marketing initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
  • Specialist/Consultant Dermatology qualification (e.g., Board Certified, MSc, Diploma, etc.).
  • Valid UAE license (DHA / MOH / DOH) or eligibility letter.
  • Minimum 3–5 years clinical dermatology experience (including cosmetic dermatology preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
