Dermatology Assistant Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and presentable Assistant Nurse to join our dermatology and aesthetic team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our Dermatologists and Registered Nurses during cosmetic procedures, ensuring a safe, sterile, and comfortable environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Preparation: Welcome patients, cleanse treatment areas, and apply topical anesthetic (numbing cream) as directed by the physician.
• Procedure Assistance: Assist doctors during aesthetic procedures such as injectables (Botox, Fillers), threads, and minor skin surgeries by preparing trays and handing instruments.
• Laser Support: Assist with laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments (e.g., shaving areas, applying cooling gel, and post-laser cooling).
• Infection Control: Adhere to strict DHA infection control protocols; clean and sterilize instruments, and disinfect treatment rooms before and after every patient.
• Documentation & Photography: Assist in taking standardized "Before & After" photos for patient medical records with high confidentiality.
• Post-Procedure Care: Apply ice packs, soothing creams, or dressings immediately after treatments and provide patients with basic home-care instructions.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of medical consumables (gauze, syringes, gloves) in treatment rooms and restock as necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• License: Valid DHA License as an Assistant Nurse (or DHA Eligibility Letter).
• Experience: Previous experience (1+ years) in a Dermatology or Aesthetic clinic is highly preferred.
• Language: Fluency in English is mandatory. (Arabic is an advantage).
• Skills:
• Basic knowledge of aesthetic treatments and skin care.
• Excellent hygiene and grooming standards.
• Ability to make patients feel calm and comfortable.
• Strong attention to detail regarding sterilization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 per month
