Position: Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

Arboretum Dermatology is a medical and cosmetic dermatology practice in Seattle.

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our team that is reliable, attentive to detail, efficient, and works well with a team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsibilities include charting and scribing, room set up and sterilization, lab and pathology results, suture removals, injections, prior authorizations, assisting in procedures, CPT and ICD-10 coding familiarity, provide post-care instructions, and may assist in front office activities. In addition, the person must have excellent customer service and communication skills, computer proficiency, be organized, and the ability to multitask under pressure with ease.

The ideal candidate would have an understanding of dermatology terminology and experience with charting in electronic medical records (EMA experience is a plus).

This is a full time position with a salary based on experience, plus a benefits packages that includes PTO and medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(K).

Job Type: Full-time

Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Associate’s degree preferred. Current Medical Assistant certificate.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Medical Assistant, dermatology experience a plus. EMA software experience a plus.

Required License or Certification: CMA License
