Full-Time Dermatology Clinical Coordinator – Medical & Cosmetic Dermatology

CSC Dermatology is seeking an experienced, proactive Dermatology Clinical Coordinator to support daily operations across our Hinsdale and Downers Grove locations. This is a hands-on clinical leadership role focused on ensuring efficient patient flow, supporting clinical and front desk staff, and maintaining an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced medical and cosmetic dermatology environment.

This role is not primarily administrative or traditional office management. We are looking for a strong, on-the-floor leader who actively supports clinic operations, helps solve workflow challenges in real time, and keeps the practice running smoothly throughout the day.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in a medical setting, strong dermatology knowledge, and the ability to coordinate staff, patients, and providers efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinic flow and patient throughput across both locations
• Support workflow between providers, medical assistants, and front desk staff
• Assist with scheduling, intake, rooming, and patient movement throughout the clinic
• Step in to resolve real-time operational or patient flow issues
• Support and guide clinical and customer service staff in daily operations
• Assist with training, onboarding support, and ongoing staff feedback
• Maintain a strong focus on patient experience and service excellence
• Serve as a liaison between patients, staff, and providers
• Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and clinic protocols
• Utilize EMR/EHR systems and operational tools (Nextech preferred)
• Provide coverage and workflow support across Hinsdale and Downers Grove locations

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in a medical or clinical setting required
• Dermatology experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical operations and patient flow
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, hands-on leadership style with strong initiative
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems (Nextech preferred)
• Professional, patient-focused, and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to travel between Hinsdale and Downers Grove locations

• Salary: $58,000–$65,000 annually
• Start date: ASAP
• Reports to: Office Manager
• Travel between locations required
• On-call and coverage support as needed
