Position Details:
· Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; PTO; and 401(k) with company matching.
· Hours: Monday–Thursday (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM) and Friday (7:30 AM – 2:00 PM)
Job Duties:
· Greeting patients and managing the intake process.
· Answering and directing phone calls.
· Making appointment reminder calls
· Scheduling patient visits and follow-ups
· Completing patient check-in/check-out duties
· Managing patient demographics, insurance input, and consent forms
· Verifying insurance and processing payments.
· Utilizing practice management software for billing and patient service
· Organizing, cleaning and maintaining reception and waiting areas.
· Conform to all HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
Qualifications
· Exemplary customer service skills in person and on the phone
· Prolific technological understanding including telephone/computer/tablet use
· High school degree or equivalent required
· Strong work ethic in individual and team setting
· Willingness to learn and follow direction
· Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
· Medical office experience preferred
