The Laser Nurse is responsible for performing safe and effective laser and aesthetic treatments in compliance with DOH/HAAD regulations. The role includes patient care, treatment execution, and ensuring high standards of safety, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laser hair removal and other approved aesthetic laser treatments.
- Conduct patient consultations, assess suitability for treatments, and explain procedures, risks, and aftercare.
- Ensure all laser procedures are carried out according to DOH/HAAD guidelines and clinic protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Prepare and maintain laser equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety checks.
- Follow strict infection control, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Provide post-treatment care instructions and follow up with patients as needed.
- Coordinate with doctors and clinic staff for patient treatment plans.
- Handle patient concerns professionally and ensure a positive patient experience.
Requirements:
- Valid DOH/HAAD License as a Nurse.
- Certified training in laser and aesthetic procedures.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Laser Nurse (preferred).
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of laser safety standards and skin care.
